Current Work

Dragging nanomagnetic particles through silk to analyse its extensional viscosity.

My Final Year Project aims to build on work already undertaken by the Natural Materials Group, by further refinining the process used to reliably produce a silk-based PolyHipe. I am doing this through further investigation in to the emulsification and curing processes involved.
